Provide Leadership for a Lifetime with donation to GSSJC

April, 2013

As parents, guardians and mentors of Girl Scouts, we encourage girls to live by the Girl Scout Law. There's no better way for a girl to learn about citizenship than by example. Each year on March 12, we celebrate the Girl Scout birthday, and Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council (GSSJC) is asking families to consider making a donation to honor Girl Scouting this year.

Each year, GSSJC spends $221 on each local girl. Donations supplement program costs in order to keep Girl Scouting affordable for all girls to participate. Some of our families can afford donating $221 for each of their Girl Scouts, while others will make more modest contributions. Every contribution helps the Council reach its goals of raising $50,000.

As a nonprofit, Girl Scouts relies on donations to deliver programs. The entire Girl Scout community is asked to support Girl Scouting and spread our culture of philanthropy. Join us in making a difference in the future by empowering girls through programs that help them achieve courage, confidence and character.
