Ways to help GSSJC

Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council covers the areas along the Gulf Coast hardest hit by Hurricane Ike, including Galveston, the Bolivar Peninsula, High Island and other areas covered by national media. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we now begin the long road to recovery.

At this time, we ask that you not send goods to the Girl Scout offices since our capacity to handle any goods is limited. That request may change in the days ahead, and we will let you know if that is the case. Our Web site (www.gssjc.org) will be the best source for up-to-date information on storm recovery efforts.

We know that many Girl Scouts will need financial assistance once they are back on their feet and ready to resume their normal activities.
